A grudge match has been announced for the August 18 WWE Raw as the road to Clash in Paris at the end of the month continues.
On the August 4 WWE Raw, Penta disrespected Xavier Woods by stealing Woods’ hat, which The New Day member claims is worth thousands of dollars. On the August 11 edition of Raw, Woods was seen confronting General Manager Adam Pearce about what took place, leading to a match between Woods and Penta being announced for the following week. At the time of writing, this is the only match announced for the next episode of the show.
Also on the August 11 Raw, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins found out his challengers for Clash in Paris as he will put the title on the line against Jey Uso, LA Knight and CM Punk. It is expected that Rollins will address the upcoming match on the show, and it is also likely that more matches will be added to the Premium Live Event card, which is scheduled to take place on August 31.
Additionally, it was recently announced that Women’s World Champion Naomi was not cleared to compete. It is also likely that this will be addressed on the show.
