Two title matches and more have been announced for WWE SmackDown.
On the August 16th episode of SmackDown, The Street Profits defeated DIY to become the new number one contenders to the Tag Team Championships, which are currently held by The Bloodline. Two members of The Bloodline [Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa] will defend the titles against Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins on the show.
Also on a prior episode of SmackDown, Santos Escobar became the new number one contender to the United States Championship, which is currently held by LA Knight. The title match has been booked for August 23rd in what will be Knight’s first defence of the title.
Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill and Naomi will once again team up as they take on Women’s Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, who will team up with Blair Davenport.
