Legendary ring announcer Lilian Garcia made a surprise return to WWE on the May 13th episode of Raw.
Introduced by current ring announcer Samantha Irvin, Garcia received a great ovation from the South Carolina crowd. Garcia was asked to introduce the next match and stated that Irvin is doing an incredible job. The legendary announcer then introduced the participants of the next match, Kofi Kingston and Gunther.

Legendary Lilian Garcia Returns
First signing with WWE in 1999, Garcia took over ring announcing duties on Raw from Hall of Famer Howard Finkel. Garcia would remain on the flagship show until 2009 when she announced her retirement. Garcia would later return in 2011 and announce on the SmackDown brand and departed once again in August 2016. Since then, Garcia has made occasional appearances for WWE including the Mae Young Classic in 2017 and the all-women’s pay-per-view Evolution in 2018.
