King Of The Hill Coming To Future WWE SmackDown

Cartoon, wrestling and propane fans will be happy to hear that King of the Hill will have a major presence on an upcoming episode of WWE SmackDown.

Popular cartoon King of the Hill is set to collaborate with WWE as part of the promotion for its latest season.

As reported by Variety on August 7, the show will be partnering with many top brands to hype the new season of the show that first aired back in 1997. For WWE, the August 15 episode of SmackDown, which will air live from Boston, MA, will see the ring mat contain the show’s logo along with digital creative being shown throughout the arena. Additionally, WWE stars Sheamus and Johnny Gargano will create content inspired by the show.

The 14th season premiered on August 4 on Hulu and has become one of the most popular shows on the platform. In the UK, all episodes were recently added to Disney+.

Which Other Brands Are Collaborating With King Of The Hill?

Variety has listed the many brands set to partner up with the popular show to make the new season as big as possible. Notable collaborations include burger chain Whataburger launching the “Hank Hill’s Favorite Burger” – the #2 Double Meat Whataburger along with Nascar driver Joey Gase driving a car with custom livery dedicated to the show. Also, Alamo beer has released a custom line in partnership with the show and lead protagonist Hank Hill was part of a “dad pack” in Fortnite that was released in time for Father’s Day earlier in the year.

The show focuses on the Hill family in Arlen, Texas, where Hank sells propane and propane accessories. The show gained notoriety due to its relatability in relationships with neighbours, co-workers, relatives, classmates, and friends.

The next episode of SmackDown will air on August 8, and will continue to focus on the fallout from SummerSlam.
