Kenny Omega looks to get even with Konosuke Takeshita in Chicago.
As seen at All In, Takeshita got the winning pin in the trios match where he teamed with Jay White and Juice Robinson to defeat “Hangman” Adam Page, Kota Ibushi and Omega. To add insult to injury, Omega was the one who was pinned in the match.
Don Callis made an appearance in the media scrum after the event, suggesting to Tony Khan that a singles match should take place. Khan agreed that this would be a great idea and made the match official.
It has also been announced that on the August 30th episode of Dynamite that Orange Cassidy will defend the International Championship against Penta El Zero Miedo. Whoever wins the title will defend it against Jon Moxley at All Out.
The updated line-up for AEW All Out is as follows:
- Miro vs. Powerhouse Hobbs
- Kris Statlander (c) vs. Ruby Soho – Singles match for the TBS Championship
- Luchasaurus (c) vs. Darby Allin – Singles match for the TNT Championship
- Kenny Omega vs. Konosuke Takeshita
- Orange Cassidy or Penta El Zero Mido vs. Jon Moxley – Singles match for the International Championship.
