Kelly Osbourne, the daughter of late heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne, has publicly taken issue with Becky Lynch’s comments on the most recent episode of WWE Raw.
The August 25 episode of the show aired live from Birmingham, England, which was also the birthplace of Osbourne. During the Lynch segment on the show, the Women’s Intercontinental Champion fired multiple insults at the city of Birmingham. On top of the standard jabs at local sports teams, with Birmingham FC and Aston Villa being the punchline, Lynch referenced Ozzy, who passed away on July 22. Along with stating that Ozzy moved away from the city, Lynch also said the following regarding his passing:
“The only good thing that came out of here died a month ago,” Lynch said. “But in fairness to Ozzy Osbourne, he had the good sense to move to LA — a proper city. Because if I lived in Birmingham, I’d die too.”
Although the line was designed to get heat from the Birmingham fans, Kelly Osbourne has let her feelings be known.

Issuing a response via Instagram story the following day, Kelly called out Lynch and the WWE over the comments made during the broadcast:
“You are a disrespectful dirtbag!,” she wrote to Lynch. “Birmingham would not piss on you if you were on fire. #birminghamforever shame on the WWE for allowing such things to be said about my father and his home!!!”
Ozzy Osbourne was a notable figure in wrestling on top of his legendary status in the world of music. Making multiple appearances on TV and pay-per-view, Ozzy was also inducted into the celebrity wing of the Hall of Fame in 2021.
At the time of writing, neither Lynch nor WWE have responded to the statement.
Lynch was eventually interrupted by Nikki Bella, which led to a match between the two being made official for Clash in Paris on August 31 with Lynch’s Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line.
