Kelani Jordan Loses WWE NXT Women's North American Championship

Kelani Jordan has seen her reign as the inaugural Women’s NXT North American Champion come to an end.

Putting the title on the line at NXT Halloween Havoc, Jordan was ultimately the victim of the numbers game as Fatal Influence took advantage of their choice of stipulation. On the go-home show, Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx spun the wheel to determine the match type against Jordan, which was revealed to be spinner’s choice. Fatal Influence chose a gauntlet match as the stipulation, meaning that Jordan had to defeat all 3 members to remain the champion.

After defeating Nyx and Jayne, Jordan was left to face off against Henley. As it appeared that Jordan had the match won, Nyx and Jayne interfered in the match to allow Henley to take advantage and win her first championship in NXT. After the match, Fatal Influence stood in the ring to celebrate the victory before being interrupted by Zaria once again, who laid out all 3 members to stand tall and close out the segment.

Kelani Jordan No Longer Women’s North American Champion

The women’s mid-card title was first announced by General Manager Ava during Stand & Deliver over WrestleMania weekend. Following multiple qualifying matches, 6 women battled it out in a ladder match at Battleground, the same way that the first-ever Men’s North American Champion was crowned. Jordan won the match and made history by becoming the inaugural champion, holding the gold for 140 days before the loss to Henley.
