Keith Lee has responded to a fan asking about his health and status as a member of the AEW roster.
The former Tag Team Champion has been away from the ring for nearly 18 months due to health issues. While it is unknown when Lee will make his return to the ring, the AEW star has given a positive update.
On May 28th, a fan sent their well wishes to Lee on social media and hoped that he would one day make his return to action:
I hope @RealKeithLee is ok and doing well. I hope I will see him back in the ring in #aew hope you are doing well health wise. I am truly blessed to be one of many to watch you in ring and hope to once again #baskinhisglory
Aware of the post, Lee responded by expressing his gratitude and also stating that he was confident the return would happen at some point:
You have my appreciation. I am quite well! Only time will tell when or where, but I am confident that time will come. Have patience my friend. Lead with Love. Be well.
After being released from his WWE contract in late 2021, Keith Lee became All Elite in February 2022. Lee won the Tag Team Championships with Swerve Strickland.
When Did Keith Lee Last Wrestle?
Lee’s most recent match took place on the December 23rd episode of Collision, which saw the former Tag Team Champion defeat Brian Cage. Lee also made appearances on ROH TV prior to taking time away. Lee was initially set to blow off his feud with former tag team partner Swerve Strickland at Worlds End, but was not cleared to compete.
