Karrion Kross and Scarlett may have seen their time with WWE come to an end for a second time.
During the late hours of August 9, fans noticed that Kross and Scarlett had been moved from the active Superstars section of WWE’s website and to the alumni section, seemingly indicating that they are no longer with the company, as has been seen with other stars in the past.
There has been a groundswell of support for Kross over the past few months, with many fans showing their support for the former NXT Champion online and wanting to see him do more within the company. Kross’ contract has also been a major talking point as it has been noted that his deal was close to expiring, and that he and Scarlett were yet to come to terms on a new deal.
Reporting more information on the move, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select stated that Kross and Scarlett’s deals were set to expire at midnight on August 10 and that the couple were likely to be answering a lot of questions about this within the next few days. Fightful also adds that they are mindful that this could be part of a storyline given the way the company has been blurring the lines as of late to keep the fans and reporters guessing.
Kross last competed at SummerSlam night 2, losing to Sami Zayn to put their rivalry to an end.
Karrion Kross And Scarlett May Have Been Released For A Second Time
Kross and Scarlett were previously released from WWE back in 2021 following the former NXT Champion’s infamous main roster call-up that saw him repackaged with attire that was mocked heavily by fans. Following the change in management in 2022 due to Vince McMahon’s first resignation, Karrion Kross and Scarlett returned in August of that year, being one of the first rehires in the Triple H era.
