John Cena returns to action at the WWE Fastlane Premium Live Event.
It has been announced by WWE that Cena will face Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso in a 2 on 1 handicap match on October 7th. The original plan seemed to be Cena teaming up with AJ Styles to face The Bloodline, but due to Uso and Sikoa attacking Styles and sending him to the hospital, Cena is now left on his own.
The last time the 16-time World Champion competed on a televised PLE was at WrestleMania, where Cena lost to Austin Theory in the opening match.
Cena’s last match was at the Superstar Spectacle show, but this was not available to watch outside of India.
The updated line-up for WWE Fastlane is as follows:
- Seth Rollins (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura – Last Man Standing match for the World Heavyweight Championship
- John Cena vs. Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso
