John Cena may have announced the location for WrestleMania 41.
At the Money in the Bank PLE in London, England, Cena made a surprise appearance at the O2, much to the delight of the crowd in attendance.
After initially thanking the fans for their appreciation and acknowledging how passionate the UK fans are, the 16 time World Champion referenced why he was at the WWE event.
To the shock of everyone, John Cena announced that his goal is to bring WrestleMania to London. Cena passionately pleaded for the fans to be loud, to chant and to give them a chance to show the world and decision makers what it would sound like if WWE’s biggest show of the year were to take place in London.
The plea was not well received by everyone, as Cena was interrupted by Grayson Waller. The new SmackDown Superstar objected to WrestleMania London, instead preferring WrestleMania to be in his home country of Australia.
Waller blindsided Cena, who would eventually hit Waller with an Attitude Adjustment to closeout the segment.
If the tease of WrestleMania London were to come true, the earliest this could take place would be 2025. With WrestleMania 40 already announced as being in Philadelphia, WrestleMania 41 is the next free event in the calendar.
