Jeff Jarrett has given the fans a major update about his AEW career and his pro wrestling career in general.
At Worlds End, Jarrett announced that he would deliver a major announcement on the following episode of Dynamite. With Jarrett having a pro wrestling career that spanned decades, there was concern that the Hall of Famer would be announcing his retirement from in-ring competition.
Appearing live on the January 1st AEW Dynamite: Fight For The Fallen, Jarrett came to the ring holding his boots. Starting off that he was thinking about things coming to an end, fans feared that this might be Jarrett’s retirement. Jarrett spoke about his upbringing and his accomplishemnts in the wrestling industry, including the creation of TNA.
Making the big announcement, Jarrett stated that he had signed his final AEW contract and wanted one more run as champion, entering himself into the Casino Gauntlet match on the January 8th Dynamite.
When Did Jeff Jarrett Last Wrestle?
The Last Outlaw’s most recent match took place on the Worlds End Zero Hour pre-show, which saw Jarrett victorious over QT Marshall. Jarrett has been competing part-time throughout his AEW career, including a main event match against Bryan Danielson on Dynamite. Jarrett was also one of the most popular acts in the AEW All In Casino Gauntlet match.
