Jeff Hardy has been released from his WWE contract according to reports. The news was first broken at around 3pm UK time by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful:
I've heard WWE offered Jeff Hardy help and rehab, and it was not accepted. Here's to hoping things get better for him.

As seen in a follow up post by Sapp, it has been heard that Hardy was offered rehab, but this was declined by the former WWE Champion. It was recently reported that Hardy was sent home from a WWE tour following a series of events that took place on a house show in Edinburg, Texas.
At the time of writing, no official statement has been made by either Jeff Hardy or the WWE regarding the reported departure. It should be noted that WWE have not acknowledged their more recent releases in 2021, whether the superstar was part of NXT or the main roster. Current WWE Champion Big E has said the following about Hardy:
Jeff Hardy is so beloved by his fans and his peers. I’ve never heard a negative word about him & he’s always treated me with such kindness. Just wishing him and his family the very best.
— Ettore “Big E” Ewen (@WWEBigE) December 9, 2021
Hardy’s final televised appearance with the company took place on the December 3rd episode of Friday Night SmackDown. The segment saw both Hardy and Drew McIntyre stand tall over Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss.
Features of Wrestling will provide updates to this story when they become available.
