Iyo Sky is now a two-time Women’s Champion.
Competing in the main event of the March 3rd episode of WWE Raw, Sky defeated Rhea Ripley to once again become the top Women’s Champion in WWE. The closing moments of the match saw Sky take advantage of Rhea Ripley being distracted by Bianca Belair to hit an Over the Moonsault to win the match and the title, bringing to an end Ripley’s reign at just 56 days. Ripley won the title from Liv Morgan at the start of the year at the Raw on Netflix premiere by defeating Liv Morgan.
As Sky previously held the WWE Women’s Championship, NXT Championship and Women’s Tag Team Championship, Sky is also a Grand Slam Champion in WWE. Sky previously won the Women’s Championship in 2023 by cashing in her Money in the Bank contract.
Iyo Sky Set For WrestleMania Showdown With Bianca Belair
At Elimination Chamber, Bianca Belair was the last woman standing in the Women’s Chamber match, becoming the first woman to win the match twice in the process. As a result of the victory, Belair earned the right to challenge for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 41. With Ripley being one of the top stars in the women’s division, it remains to be seen what the former champion will be doing at the biggest show of the year.
