Injury Updates Following Chaotic WarGames Match At WWE Survivor Series

Unfortunately, not everyone was able to walk away from the main event of WWE Survivor Series unscathed.

As expected, the main event of Survivor Series saw The OG Bloodline of Roman Reigns, The Usos and Sami Zayn team up with CM Punk to emerge victorious over The New Bloodline of Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, Jacob Fatu and Bronson Reed.

One of the most memorable moments in the match saw Bronson Reed climb to the top of the cage and attempt to deliver a Tsunami onto Reigns through the table. However, at the last second, Punk saved Reigns from the attack resulting in Reed crashing to the floor. In a follow-up by Fightful SelectReed “suffered an injury to one of, and possibly both, of his ankles on landing.” Reed also required assistance to the back following the match. Triple H noted in the press conference that Reed was being checked by the medical team and could miss a number of weeks of action following the spot.

Additionally, Jimmy Uso suffered a broken toe following his top cage splash that took place in the match.

In more positive news, the apparent knee injury Jacob Fatu suffered following a moonsault was Fatu heavily selling the leg and is said to be fine. Everyone else in the match was said to be ok.

What Else Happened At WWE Survivor Series?

Survivor Series was a successful night for Shinsuke Nakamura as he defeated LA Knight to become the new United States Champion. This was the only title change that took place that night as Gunther retained the World Heavyweight Championship against Damian Priest and Bron Breakker retained the Intercontinental Championship over Ludwig Kaiser and Sheamus. The babyface team also won the Women’s WarGames match in the opening contest.
