Hulk Hogan has addressed the upcoming Royal Rumble and has hinted that there may be a surprise.
As seen on the January 22nd edition of WWE Raw, Hogan appeared via video package to acknowledge his victory over The Iron Sheik in Madison Square Garden 40 years ago.
Regarded as the start of Hulkamania, a video package looked back on the monumental victory and how it changed his career for the next 40 years. The video transitioned to the Royal Rumble and put over some of the top stars of today including Seth Rollins, Bayley, Becky Lynch and Cody Rhodes.
As the video came to a close, Hogan dropped the hint that he might be in Florida for the match, noting that he might have one more left in him. Considering that Hogan is now 70 years old and has not competed in over 10 years, it’s highly unlikely that Real American will blast out through Tropicana Field on January 28th.
When Did Hulk Hogan Last Wrestle In WWE?
Hogan’s final WWE match took place in 2006 when he defeated Randy Orton in the main event of SummerSlam. Hogan would later sign with TNA and have his last match at a TNA house show in London. While most wrestlers lose their final match in WWE, Hogan is one of many who ended with his hand raised.
