Hikaru Shida is a 3-time AEW Women’s Champion.
As seen on the October 10th Title Tuesday special of AEW Dynamite, Shida defeated Saraya to capture the title for a record third time.
Saraya attempted to cheat to win by using the spray paint and hitting multiple Night Caps, but Shida would survive. Shida would hit a Falcon Arrow followed by multiple pin exchanges to win the match and the championship.
This was the second championship to change hands on the show, as Orange Cassidy defeated Rey Fenix to win the AEW International Championship for a second time.
Saraya’s first reign has now come to an end at 44 days after winning the title for the first time at AEW All In.
