More information has been provided on The IInspiration after the Australian duo recently made their AEW debut.
As reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Jessica McMay and Cassie Lee’s appearance was not a one-off, as the tag team have signed a multi-year deal with the promotion. It is also noted that the deal has been locked down for the best part of a month.
The report also adds that a source in WWE claimed that if fans didn’t see the former IIconics make their return to the company as part of the Royal Rumble, then they were very likely to be AEW-bound.
McKay and Lee finished up with TNA in late 2025 after dropping the Knockouts Tag Team Championships to The Elegance Brand. It is noted that their departure from TNA was amicable.
The IInspiration Confirm AEW Signing At House Show
Jessica McKay and Cassie Lee made their debut for the promotion at a House Rules live event in Brisbane the night after the Grand Slam special took place in Sydney. The former TNA and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions defeated Aysha and Frankie P in a short match on the show and announced they were All Elite shortly afterwards. After McKay and Lee issued a challenge to any team in the back, they were chased away from the ring by The Brawling Birds.
At the time of writing, there has been no update as to when the duo are set to make their TV debut for All Elite Wrestling.
