The first match has been announced for Bodyslams to Cancer 2026, but one competitor will be at a disadvantage.
Former Junior Heavyweight Champion Carter will be in action at the show, but he has been told that he won’t know who his opponent will be until the day of the show. Ever since winning the Dee Mansell Memorial Rumble at last year’s show, Carter has let his feelings about Fight Factory’s owner, Rebecca, very clear. Things came to a head at Rise of Champions when Rebecca stopped Carter from using the Junior Heavyweight Championship as a weapon in his title match against George Hunter.
Carter looked to win King of the Cage the following month, but was once again stopped by Rebeca. Following a confrontation at the FFW gym, Carter was informed of his Bodyslams to Cancer plans.
The winner of King of the Cage, Zac Rowe, has earned his opportunity at a championship of his choosing. Rowe has yet to make his decision on who is opponent will be. The show will also feature the Dee Mansell Memorial Rumble, the annual match in memory of Hayden “Dutch” Loeve’s mother. The winner of the Rumble will receive a trophy and the opportunity to cash it in for a title match at any time.
Bodyslams to Cancer is Fight Factory’s biggest show of the year. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Sophie’s Journey, a charity that provides free holidays to children and adults with cancer in Lincolnshire
