New Match Added To WWE Clash At The Castle

WWE Clash AT The Castle

The build to WWE Clash at the Castle continues!

Returning to the UK on June 15th, the upcoming Premium Live Event will take place live in Glasgow, Scotland and will see a major match take place involving Scotland’s own Drew McIntyre. As announced at the King and Queen of the Ring event, Triple H provided the update that Drew McIntyre had been cleared to compete and would challenge Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship in front of a raucous Glasgow crowd. McIntyre has been looking for an opportunity to right the wrong ever since he was screwed out of his championship win by CM Punk at WrestleMania 40. Previously on Raw, Priest promised McIntyre a future opportunity at the title when the former World Champion had been cleared to compete.

McIntyre previously challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at the first-ever Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, Wales back in 2022. The Scottish Warrior looked to have the match won but was once again screwed out of a major victory thanks to a debuting Solo Sikoa. Both McIntyre and UK fans will be hoping that this time will be different.

AJ Styles has continued his pursuit of Cody Rhodes and the Undisputed after being unsuccessful at Backlash. On the June 7th SmackDown, an “I Quit” match was made official for the show.

The Current Line-Up For WWE Clash At The Castle Is As Follows:

  • Damian Priest (c) vs. Drew McIntyre – Singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship
  • Bayley (c) vs. Piper Niven – Singles match for the WWE Women’s Championship
  • Sami Zayn (c) vs. Chad Gable – Singles match for the Intercontinental Championship
  • Cody Rhodes (c) vs. AJ Styles – “I Quit” match for the Undisputed Championship
  • Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair (c) vs. Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn vs. Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark – Triple threat match for the Women’s Tag Team Championships
