CM Punk and Ricky Starks will battle to become the second ever winner of the Owen Hart Tournament.
As seen on the July 8th episode of AEW Collision, both semi-finals of the tournament took place, with Starks defeating Powerhouse Hobbs in the opening match of the show, and Punk defeating Samoa Joe for the first time ever in the main event.
Ricky Starks defeated Hobbs due to mistimed interference from QT Marshall, who accompanied Hobbs to the ring. Hobbs looked to take out his frustrations on Marshall, but Marshall managed to escape unscathed thanks to Harley Cameron providing assistance.
The main event had a big fight feel, renewing the rivalry that originated in Ring of Honor. Punk won the match with a surprise roll up, much to the shock and anger of Joe.
After the match, Joe appeared to show respect to Punk, extending the hand for a handshake. However, this was a trap set by the Samoan Submission Machine, luring Punk in to choke out the former AEW World Champion.

- CM Punk vs. Ricky Starks – Final of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament
- FTR (c) vs. Bullet Club Gold 2 out of 3 match for the AEW Tag Team Championships
