Drew McIntyre did not walk out of WWE Bad Blood unscathed.
Competing in the opening match of the Premium Live Event in Atlanta, Georgia, the former World Champion looked to end his rivalry with CM Punk as both men stepped inside Hell in a Cell. Easily the match of the night, both men went to war with tables, chains and spanners being just some of the weapons used. In the end, CM Punk emerged victorious as he hit a GTS onto McIntyre with a chain wrapped around his leg to win the match and bring their bitter feud to an end.
As many expected, bloodshed occurred in the match with both Punk and McIntyre bleeding profusely. Punk was busted open when he was lawn darted into the Cell wall while McInytre bled heavily when he was struck with a toolbox. According to a new report, the toolbox shot was legitimate. As reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, McIntyre required 16 staples to close up the wound backstage following the shot to the head.
Punk also collapsed on his way back up the ramp, but this appears to be in storyline as no other updates have been provided.

Punk has been an issue for the former 3-time World Champion ever since WrestleMania when he has repeatedly cost The Scottish Psychopath reigns with the World Championship. Most notably, CM Punk was the reason Drew McIntyre failed to win the World Heavyweight Championship at Clash at the Castle in Glasgow, Scotland.
