Danhausen is no longer listed on the AEW roster page, further adding to the speculation that he will be joining WWE.
All Elite Wrestling removed Danhausen from the page on February 27. With the promotion being known for being punctual with its removals, this indicates that Danhausen has now left the company. Prior to the update from AEW, Danhausen posted multiple cryptic images on social media that implied he was no under contract, such as the Genie from Aladdin losing his shackles.
Danhausen last competed in AEW back in 2023 and for Ring of Honor in February 24. However, Danhausen has been very active on the independents during his time away from TV. Danhausen made his AEW debut back in 2022 when he made a surprise appearance during the match between Adam Cole and Orange Cassidy. There has been no word as to why he has been absent from TV for the extended period.
Why Do Fans Think Danhausen Has Signed With WWE?
In the lead-up to Elimination Chamber, which is set to take place in Chicago on February 28, a crate has been seen on Raw and SmackDown, with instructions for it not to be opened until the day of the Premium Live Event. According to betting odds, Danhausen is the most likely person to be revealed inside the crate.
