Cody Rhodes is the latest name to commit to WWE for the foreseeable future.
As WWE hopes to lock down more and more Superstars for the next few years, Dave Meltzer reports that The American Nightmare signed a new deal back in October.
Rhodes has been regarded a high priority signing by the company due to his strong merchandise sales and strong crowd reactions, being presented as the number one babyface of the Raw brand. The length of Rhodes’ new deal is unknown at this time.
The winner of the 2023 Royal Rumble is the latest name to commit as previous names confirmed to have re-signed with WWE include Bayley, Charlotte Flair and Rey Mysterio.
Cody Rhodes Still Looking To Finish The Story
Rhodes was the first major name to make the jump from AEW to WWE in 2022 following multiple names going in the other direction in the early days of All Elite Wrestling. With Rhodes failing to defeat Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39, The American Nightmare is looking to avenge the loss in Philadelphia in 2024.
