CM Punk’s Dog Larry A Major Merch Mover In WWE

CM Punk could be facing strong merchandise competition from an unlikely rival, his own dog Larry!

CM Punk may soon be set to compete in merch sales against an unlikely rival, his dog Larry.

Punk fans are very familiar with Larry as the former World Champion regularly mentions his beloved dog in promos and provides updates on social media. Never ones to turn down a potentially lucrative merchandising opportunity, WWE went on to make T-shirts and toys of Larry for fans to buy. While some may have dismissed this as a novelty, the reality has turned out to be the complete opposite.

As reported on WrestleVotes RadioLarry has outdrawn multiple current stars and legends with his merchandise sales and more items are said to be in production. Unsurprisingly, WWE are very happy with this news:

“Some merchandising news. We are told WWE was absolutely thrilled with the initial run items of Larry, the dog. CM Punk’s dog so much so we are told to expect multiple new Larry items to be featured upon CM Punk return to TV. A source did say Larry the dog outrew several current superstars as well as WWE legends on WWE Shop over the course of his merchandising release. He did have a T-shirt. He did have, I believe a stuffed dog is either in the works or on the way.”

When Will CM Punk Return To WWE TV?

Punk was last seen on the Raw after Bad Blood, which saw the Chicago native go to war against Drew McIntyre inside Hell in a Cell and prevail against The Scottish Warrior inside the steel structure. Stating that he was going to take time away due to the brutal match, Punk has been absent for a number of weeks, which was also said to write him off TV for the Crown Jewel show in Saudi Arabia. With the show now over, Punk is expected to return soon but has been announced for the December 26th house show in Madison Square Garden in New York.
