Chris Jericho will take on one of the best wrestlers in the world in front of over 80,000 people.
Jericho was asked to make his decision as to whether or not he wants to join Don Callis on the August 16th episode of AEW Dynamite. Jericho stated that he does not join factions, he creates them, accepting Callis’ offer.
Callis looked to celebrate, but Jericho hesitated, wanting to see the painting that was covered up. With Callis expecting a different answer, the picture was Callis holding Jericho’s severed head.
Callis stated that Jericho doesn’t deserve to be a part of the family, with Jericho responding that no one cared about him until 3 years ago and they don’t now. Jericho attacked Callis, but was subdued by Konosuke Takeshita and a surprise return from Will Ospreay, who struck Jericho in the head with a chair.
Later in the show, a bloody Chris Jericho was being treated in the back, and issued the challenge for All In.
The first time ever match will take place at Wembley Stadium, with hometown hero Ospreay sure to receive the biggest ovation of his career at the event.
