Chris Jericho suffered a broken nose on the July 20th episode of AEW Dynamite.
The injury took place during week 2 of Fyter Fest, where Jericho faced off against Eddie Kingston in a Barbed Wire everywhere match in the main event of the show.
AEW confirmed the injury on their social media the day after the match took place:
It injury appears to have taken place when Kingston attempted to strike Jericho with a chair wrapped in barbed wire. The inaugural AEW Champion would counter the attempted strike by The Mad King with a Codebreaker, which would send the chair crashing onto Jericho’s face:
Despite the broken nose happing during the match, Jericho would continue and would go on to win the bloody bout against Eddie Kingston.
