Chelsea Green Wins Women's United States Championship On WWE SmackDown

Chelsea Green is the new and first two-time holder of the Women’s United States Championship.

Green defeated Giulia on the November 7 edition of SmackDown to win the title back in very quick fashion. After just over a minute, Kiana James assisted Giulia at ringside by hitting Green with an elbow. Alba Fyre then responded with a superkick, which was followed by Giulia taking out Fyre, but the distraction allowed Green to roll up her opponent, and putting her feet on the ropes for the surprise win.

After the match, Green celebrated the victory with Ethan Page, who was sitting in the front row for the match. Green and Page are the current AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions, and are set to defend the titles against Thea Hail and Joe Hendry on the next episode of NXT. As Ethan Page is the current NXT North American Champion, both Page and Green are now double champions.

Chelsea Green Is Once Again Women’s United States Champion

Following the introduction of the women’s midcard championship in 2024, Green defeated Michin in the tournament final at the December Saturday Night’s Main Event special to become the inaugural champion.

Green held the title for 131 days, which was just surpassed by Giulia prior to the match with a reign of 133 days.
