Charlotte Flair To Miss WWE WrestleMania

Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair will be out of action for most of 2024.

Flair suffered a knee injury on the December 9th edition of SmackDown while facing Asuka. While Flair went on to finish the match, it was unknown how severe the injury was at that point. Unfortunately for the former Women’s Champion, a concerning update has been posted.

As posted on WWE’s social media, Flair will be side-lined for 9 months. This unfortunately means that the SmackDown star will miss the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania:

BREAKING: Due to a knee injury that will require surgery,

@MsCharlotteWWE will be out of action for approximately 9 months. More details to come.

With Flair being one of the top stars of the WWE Women’s Division, it was expected that Flair would have been featured prominently on the biggest show of the year.

At WrestleMania 39, Flair would lose the Women’s Championship to Rhea Ripley in what many regarded as the match of the night.

Features of Wrestling would like to wish Charlotte Flair a full and speedy recovery.
