More superstars have been added to each of the Money in the Bank ladder matches. The men’s line-up is now complete and the women’s match has seen an addition and a removal.
Before the show, WWE announced qualifying matches for the men’s Money in the Bank ladder matches to complete the field for the blue brand. Shinsuke Nakamura and Seth Rollins each won their respective matches, meaning they will advance to the match at the pay per view on July 18th. The line-up for the men’s match is Drew McIntyre, Riddle, John Morrison, Ricochet, Kevin Owens, Big E, Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura.
For the women’s match, Carmella has been removed. This is due to Carmella already having a championship match on the go-home SmackDown. Carmella will face Bianca Belair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. The change is because Bayley, who was originally meant to challenge Belair, is currently out with an injury for 9 months.
To counteract this change, Liv Morgan has been added to the women’s ladder match. WWE official Sonya Deville announced that Morgan would be replacing Carmella on the July 9th SmackDown. The current line-up for the women’s ladder match is Liv Morgan, Zelina Vega, Asuka, Naomi, Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss. Two more superstars are still to be confirmed.
