Carlito has come to the aid of the LWO once again.
The former United States Champion was announced as the mystery partner to team with Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar to take on Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits.
The match started with the LWO at a 3 on 2 disadvantage but Mysterio and Escobar still tried to fight on valiantly. As it looked like Mysterio had no one to tag, Carlito’s music hit and the LWO came alive. Carlito would be instrumental in the victory by hitting a Backstabber onto Montez Ford to win the match.
Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde were unable to compete after being taken out by Lashley and The Profits on the go-home episode of SmackDown.
Carlito was last seen at the Backlash Premium Live Event in Puerto Rico, chasing off The Judgment Day during the street fight between Bad Bunny and Damian Priest.

In an update from October 13th 2023, Carlito is officially a member of the SmackDown roster.
