IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Callum Newman is set to compete at the RevPro Revoltion Rumble event in Doncaster, England.
On May 11, RevPro announced that Newman would be in action against Leon Cage at the next event. Cage, 19, will not be fighting for the title at the show.
At Sakura Genesis on 4 April, Newman defeated Yota Tsuji to become the new IWGP Heavyweight Champion. At 23 years of age, Newman is the youngest wrestler to hold the top prize in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Newman made his debut for RevPro back in 2019 when he faced Senza Volto in a losing effort. Newman previously challenged for the promotion’s Cruiserweight Championship multiple times, but never held a title in RevPro. Newman’s last match for the UK promotion was back in September 2025, which saw Newman defeat Maverick Mayhew.

Along with Callum Newman set to be in action, multiple title matches have also been added to the card. Heavyweight Champion Jay Joshua and Cruiserweight Champion Joe Lando are set to be in action, along with Alexxis Falcon putting the Women’s Title on the line.
The show will also feature the Revolution Rumble. Whoever is the last man standing will earn a championship match at a later date.
The updated line-up is now as follows:
- Callum Newman vs. Leon Cage
- Young Guns (c) vs. Slater Dojo – Tag team match for the Undisputed British Tag Team Championships
- Alexxis Falcon (c) vs. Dani Luna – Singles match for the Undisputed British Women’s Championship
- Jay Joshua (c) vs. JJ Gale – Singles match for the Undisputed British Heavyweight Championship
- Joe Lando (c) vs. Leyton Buzzard – Singles match for the Undisputed British Cruiserweight Championship
- Revolution Rumble match – Michael Oku, Sha Samuels, Kuro, Trent Seven, David Francisco and Drilla Maloney are the confirmed entrants
RevPro Revolution Rumble will emanate from Doncaster Dome on Sunday, May 17.
