Brock Lesnar WWE Return Plans Could Change

WWE Brock Lesnar

A potential Brock Lesnar return may be significantly delayed.

Lesnar has been absent from WWE programming since SummerSlam 2023, losing his rivalry with Cody Rhodes. With WrestleMania approaching and Lesnar frequently being a formidable force in the Royal Rumble match, many expected the former World Champion to be a surprise entrant in the signature battle royal. Understandably, plans may have changed in light of recent reports.

On January 25th, a disturbing lawsuit was filed against Vince McMahon, which alleged that the WWE Chairman was involved in sex trafficking a former employee. The lawsuit also sees multiple employees included in the documented sexual abuse, including former Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis. Additionally, while unnamed, a talent is listed as a “world-famous athlete and former UFC Heavyweight Champion.” While not explicitly named, the Wall Street Journal and multiple fans have identified this wrestler as Brock Lesnar.

Brock Lesnar Remains In Doubt For Royal Rumble

A follow-up report by Fightful Select has provided additional information regarding a possible Lesnar return. Fightful notes that the original plan was for Lesnar to be a part of the Royal Rumble but in light of the allegation directed towards Vince McMahon, this could understandably change.
