Brie Bella could be the latest legend to make her way back to WWE, likely to fight alongside her twin sister Nikki.
As reported by TMZ on June 12th, Brie is in talks to come out of retirement and stand alongside Nikki to be a part of the all-women’s Premium Live Event Evolution, which will take place next month. It should be noted that the article does not explicitly state that Brie will be wrestling as part of the returning event.
Making her return on the June 9th episode of WWE Raw, Nikki Bella was interrupted by Liv Morgan. Following a brief war of words, Morgan hit Bella with the Oblivion to stand tall. While not confirmed, it is speculated that The Bella Twins may reunite to face Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, who are currently the Women’s Tag Team Champions. If the match does take place, it will be the first time that the Hall of Fame duo have challenged for the titles.
The article also notes that Brie was “p*ssed” about Morgan referencing Nikki’s divorce from Artem Chigvintsev, which followed Chigvintsev being arrested for domestic violence charges back in August 2024. The arrest, fallout and divorce was widely publicised, along with the terms of the divorce that saw Bella pay $200,000 as part of the settlement.
Only one match has been confirmed for WWE Evolution on July 13th.
Brie Bella Potentially Coming Out Of Retirement To Return To WWE
If Brie does compete at Evolution, this will be her first match since her surprise entry in the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble. Nikki Bella made her surprise return as the number 30 entrant in the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble.
Debuting in 2008, The Bella Twins became major stars both in the ring and in the reality TV world thanks to their involvement in the reality TV series Total Divas and their own spin-off Total Bellas. The sisters have 3 Divas Championship reigns between them and were inducted intot eh Hall of Fame in 2021. Their induction was delayed by a year due to the COVID pandemic.
