Braun Strowman was unable to walk away from his war with Bronson Reed unscathed.

Taking palce on the main event of the September 30th episode of Raw, Strowman battled against Reed in a Last Monster Standing match that saw both men destroy everything around them and the ring itself. Following an epic battle, a returning Seth Rollins would prove to be the deciding factor as he stomped Reed onto the steel steps to allow Strowman to get to his feet and win the match.

Unfortunately for Strowman, he suffered an injury very early into the contest. Providing an update on his Instagram page, the former Universal Champion showed off his bruise and confirmed that he suffered a torn groin just 2 minutes into the match:

“After waiting a few days to see how this was gonna end up. This is where we’re at!!,” he wrote. “Tore my Groin 2 minutes into the Last Monster Standing Match last week on #Raw and pained my way through that son of a b****. To yet again reminded the world I am The #MonsterOfAllMonsters.”

At this time, it is unknown how long Strowman will be out of action for.

Bruan Strowman Recent Returned After Undergoing Neck Surgery

Sidelined for over a year after requiring neck surgery in 2023, The Monster made his return at the 2024 Draft to chase away Logan Paul and his cred. Strowman also stared down NFL star Patrick Mahomes, who sat in the front row at the Raw taping in Kansas City.

Features of Wrestling would like to wish Braun Strowman a full and speedy recovery.
