Betrayal At WrestleMania 41 As Paul Heyman Sides With Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins Elaborates On Future Plans After WWE In-Ring Career Ends

Paul Heyman chose his side at WrestleMania 41, aligning himself with Seth Rollins to bring night 1 of the show to a shocking conclusion.

The main event saw Rollins take on Roman Reigns and CM Punk with Heyman accompanying Punk to the ring to make good on his promise. With Living Colour playing Cult of Personality live for Punk, the entrance gave flashbacks to WrestleMania 29, the last time that the Chicago native competed at The Show of Shows.

The match saw brawling in the stands, multiple finishers hit and Reigns driving both Punk and Rollins through the two announce tables. Towards the end of the match, all 3 men were down, prompting Heyman to enter the ring with a steel chair. Initially handing the chair to Punk, Heyman hit a low blow onto Punk to allow Reigns to capitalise. The Hall of Famer then told Reigns to attack Rollins, which led to Heyman hitting a second low blow, this time onto Reigns. Rollins capitalised on the interference to hit a stomp onto Reigns and win the main event 10 years on from The Heist of the Century, which once again saw The Visionary emerge victorious over Reigns.

Seth Rollins Is A Paul Heyman Guy

The services of Paul Heyman became a major factor in the build-up to the match with Punk asking Heyman to be in his corner in return for helping out Reigns and Heyman back at Survivor Series. Additionally, Rollins teased that Heyman also owed him a favour on Raw in the lead up to the show.
