Becky Lynch has addressed the behind-the-scenes show WWE: Unreal prior to the second season of the show premiering on Netflix.
The latest season of the show is now available to watchon the streaming platform after being promoted on TV over the past few weeks. While many have praised the format and finding out additional details regarding the major storylines, others have taken issue with the industry being exposed this much. Along with fans being divided by the show, stars such as CM Punk and Paul Heyman have admitted that it is not a show they are fans of. However, when asked about WWE: Unreal, Lynch admitted she sees the appeal.
Speaking with Ed Easton Jr. of Chiefs Wire, Lynch admitted that while some are not exactly happy with showcasing some of the secrets of the pro wrestling industry, it’s a show that she would have loved if she were a fan:
“Yeah, I mean, there’s that old school mentality that I think is in both of us, where we feel a little bit sheltered and a little bit uncomfortable letting it all out there. But I also think that as a fan, I would have loved to see this. This would have been my dream,” said Lynch, “So, you know, wrestling has gone through different stages, and right now we are in the midst of everybody knowing that it’s story lines, that it’s entertainment, and however else we can service them in entertainment.”
