Bad Bunny has recalled his in-ring debut at WrestleMania and who came up with the memorable spot that took place towards the end of the match.
Following multiple appearances on Raw during the pandemic era, the music megastar competed in his first-ever match at WrestleMania 37. Teaming with Damian Priest, the duo were victorious over The Miz and John Morrison in what many believe to be one of the best celebrity matches in history.
With the Grammy Award-winning musician in the ring for a lot of the match as opposed to a few spots, the biggest surprise came at the end when Bunny hit a Canadian Destroyer onto Morrison on the outside of the ring, leaving many in shock at the spot that took place.
Appearing as a guest on Hot Ones, the singer revealed that John Morrison was the one who pitched the idea:
“That was John Morrison’s idea. Like, ‘You should do the Canadian Destroyer and we call it the Bunny Destroyer.’ We did it, we practiced it. I really learned a lot about him, about Damian Priest, The Miz, and all the guys that was coaching me,”
