Ash By Elegance has ended the TNA Knockouts title reign of Jacy Jayne with a huge win at WWE NXT Heatwave.
Competing at the Premium Live Event on August 24, Ash emerged victorious over Jayne and former Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich to win the title for the first time in her career. The ending of the match saw Jayne hit Slamovich hit the rolling encore, but The Elegance Brand interfered by dragging Jayne out of the ring. Taking advantage of the clear path, Ash hit the swanton bomb to win the match and the title.
After the match, Ash celebrated with Heather By Elegance and M By Elegance, who also reign as the Knockouts Tag Team Champions. As a result of the victory, the faction now holds all the women’s championships in TNA.
The match signifies the end of Jayne’s TNA title reign at 35 days. Jayne defeated Slamovich back at Slammiversary in a winner-take-all match with the NXT Women’s Championship also on the line. Jayne still reigns as NXT Women’s Champion at the time of writing.
Who Is Ash By Elegance?
The new Knockouts Champion, 36, is best known for her time in WWE as Dana Brooke. Introduced on the main roster as the protégée to Charlotte Flair, Brooke was regularly featured on WWE TV but never won a Women’s Championship while with the company. However, Brooke did capture the 24/7 Championship 15 times.
Released from her WWE contract in September 2023, Brooke rebranded as Ash By Elegance and made her TNA debut in January 2024 by appearing in the crowd at Hard to Kill.
