Alexa Bliss is back on WWE TV after making her surprise return on SmackDown.

On the May 9th episode of SmackDown, Bliss was revealed to be the mystery partner for new Women’s United States Champion Zelina Vega to take on the former champion Chelsea Green and Piper Niven. Vega and Bliss won the match when Bliss hit the Twisted Bliss and Sister Abigail to pick up the win for her team.

Later in the night, the former Women’s Champion was seen backstage with Charlotte Flair, who walked out in storyline following negative fan response.

It was rumoured earlier in the day that Bliss would be making her return to TV after being spotted in town ahead of the show.

When Was Alexa Bliss Last On WWE TV?

Bliss made her return from maternity leave at the 2025 Royal Rumble following rumours that there were contract disputes between her and the company. From there, Bliss qualified for the Women’s Elimination Chamber match but was eliminated by Liv Morgan. Many pointed out Bliss’ absence from WrestleMania 41 in the following weeks. The match was won by Bianca Belair, who along with Rhea Ripley, was unsuccessful in defeating WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY.
