AJ Styles TNA Return Confirmed

AJ Styles TNA Return Confirmed

The rumours are indeed true, AJ Styles will be making his return to TNA after more than a decade away from the promotion.

A vignette played on the July 17 episode of Impact to promote Slammiversary on July 20. The video shows a dusty box in a garage followed by a quick clip of Styles from his time in TNA. When the camera zooms into the open box, a dusty t-shirt is seen with Styles’ logo on the front, indicating that The Phenomenal One will be making an appearance at the Premium Live Event in New York. Although there has been no official announcement from the promotion, fans quickly figured out the eaning behind the vignette, seen below:

It is currently unknown if Styles will be making a standard appearance, have a match or set up a future contest down the road. If Styles does eventually compete inside a TNA ring, this will be the first time that he has been in action for the company since late 2013. As fans are aware, Styles left TNA after more than a decade following a loss to then World Champion Magnus, before eventually signing with WWE in 2016.

AJ Styles TNA Return Rumours Seemingly True

Following TNA President Carlos Silva first teasing that something phenomenal was coming to the show’s second biggest PLE of the year, multiple reports stated that AJ Styles’ appearance at the TNA event was all but confirmed, noting that it would have been a major oversight had the teases not led to the return.
