The All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling crossover pay-per-view Forbidden Door presale tickets sold out in under an hour.
As reported by Twitter account WrestleTix, the presale for the event due to take place at the United Center in Chicago sold out in 40 minutes. However, the WrestleTix account does note that not every ticket was made available for the presale:
Instant presale sell out for the AEWxNJPW Forbidden Door show at the United Center. Less than 40 minutes (mostly because AEW didn't release every ticket initially) and well over 20,000 people in the queue.

The news was welcomed by AEW president Tony Khan, who announced that 11,000 tickets have already been announced for the upcoming show. General sale tickets are going on sale May 6th, with the remaining tickets expected to also sell in rapid time. WrestleTix states in a follow up tweet that the capacity for the arena is approximately 14,000.
The highly anticipated crossover show between the two promotions was announced in April 2022. The Forbidden Door show will air live on Sunday June 26th.
