The first-ever Wrestle Dynasty pay-per-view took place on Sunday, January 5th.
Taking place the night after Wrestle Kingdom 19 at the Tokyo Dome, the inaugural event saw the stars from AEW, NJPW, CMLL, ROH and STARDOM all in action. The show saw the in-ring return of Kenny Omega, who has been out of action for over a year after being hospitalised with diverticulitis at the end of 2023. Other notable matches included Ricochet challenging Zack Sabre Jr. for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, The Young Bucks challenging for the IWGP Tag Team Championships and the latest match on Hiroshi Tanahashi’s retirement tour.
