With titles, money and honour all at stake at AEW WrestleDream 2025, who will emerge victorious at the upcoming pay-per-view?
The event that was first created as a tribute to Antonio Inoki will be returning for its 3rd iteration on October 18. Along with World Champion Adam Page defending his World Championship against Samoa Joe in what is likely to be the main event, Jon Moxley will look to end Darby Allin in an “I Quit” match and The Don Callis Family look to add more gold to their collection as Kazuchika Okada and new IWGP World Champion Konosuke Takeshita will challenge for the Tag Team Championships.
Two women’s matches have also been announced as Toni Storm will face Women’s Champion Kris Statlander, while Jamie Hayter will take on Thekla.
AEW WrestleDream 2025 Predictions
Brodido (c) vs. Kazuchika Okada And Konosuke Takeshita For The Tag Team Championships
As a match between Okada and Takeshita feels like an inevitability at this point, this could be the match where the real cracks start to show. Whether it be from egos or from a miscommunication spot, but The Don Callis Family will cause their own downfall, allowing Brodido to retain the titles.
Winners; Brodido
The Hurt Syndicate vs. The Demand
Both teams have faced off in varying combinations multiple times now, and it feels like it is time for this feud to end, especially as both teams have gone to war in a street fight recently. With one win apiece, this could go either way, but The Hurt Syndicate feel like the more viable winners here.
Winners: The Hurt Syndicate
Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Mark Briscoe For The TNT Championship
Despite failing to win the World Title at All Out, TNT Champion Fletcher has picked up a number of big wins in his own title scene. With Briscoe recently picking up the bug win against MJF, it’s unlikely that he will be walking out of WrestleDream with gold. Fletcher still has more work to do in making the title feel more prestigious, and looks set for a lot more defences. When looking at this from a more traditional standpoint, this is a strong contender for match of the night.
Winner: Kyle Fletcher
Jurassic Express vs. The Young Bucks In A $500K Match
With AEW continuing to run the broke Young Bucks storyline, even when they recently won a significant amount of money, it’s likely that Jurassic Express will pick up the win here, especially as they have only recently reunited. A shopping vignette with Luchasaurus could be entertaining if AEW decide to run with it, but this will also be a sign that a Tag Title match is also in Jack Perry and Luchasaurus’ future soon.
Winners: Jurassic Express
Jamie Hayter vs. Thekla
Thekla has been dominant since her arrival in AEW, and this shows no signs of letting up at WrestleDream. Being booked as one of the biggest threats heading into the first-ever Women’s Blood and Guts match, this will be another win for The Toxic Spider.
Winner: Thekla
Kris Statlander (c) vs. Toni Storm For The Women’s Championship
While Storm remains the more popular wrestler of the 2, hopefully the former champion can elevate Statlander in a similar way that she did with Mariah May the previous year. Expect a Statlander retention here as the new champion looks to secure her spot as the top women’s wrestler in the company.
Winner: Kris Statlander
Jon Moxley vs. Darby Allin In An “I Quit” Match
While these are AEW WrestleDream predictions, this is easily the most unpredictable when anticipating how chaotic this will be. With a flamethrower and a Molotov cocktail teased ahead of time, it feels like someone is getting set on fire here among the rest of the carnage. As Moxley picked up the win at All Out, this one feels like it’s Allin’s time to get the win back.
Winner: Darby Allin
Adam Page vs. Samoa Joe For The AEW World Championship
As the second reign of Adam Page continues, it feels that AEW are making an effort to make the second run much more prestigious than the first. With major wins over Jon Moxley and Kyle Fletcher already under his belt, Page will pick up another big win over Joe at WrestleDream. Until a match with MJF, it feels like Page is a safe bet in future title matches.
Winner: Adam Page
