AEW Star Injured & Taking Time Away

Belief In AEW That PPVs Are Too Long

One member of the AEW roster will be absent from TV for an extended period after suffering an injury in a recent match.

At Double or Nothing, Harley Cameron teamed with Anna Jay to defeat Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford on the pre-show. As reported by Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline, Cameron sustained the injury in the Double or Nothing match. Alvarez was unable to confirm the nature of the injury or how much time Cameron will need to recover.

Despite the injury, Cameron competed in the No DQ rematch on the May 28th episode of Dynamite. While Cameron took the pin and was bleeding in the bout, the blood was not real and was used as part of an angle to write her off TV to allow the injury to heal.

Cameron made her debut in 2022 and signed a full-time deal with the promotion one year later. The Australian wrestler has become a firm fan favourite over the past few months by showcasing her many talents, including her ventriloquism skills with a Mercedes Mone puppet.
