AEW Grand Slam: France Preview October 6

Four title matches and more have been announced for AEW Grand Slam: France, which will be the promotion’s first show in the country.

Following her success at All In: Wembley, Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone will be in action in Paris. Mone will put the title on the line against Queen Aminata as part of the latest international special. Also announced, Darby Allin will defend the TNT Championship against Kyle Fletcher following Fletcher’s International Title loss at All In.

Trios Champion Kofi will also be looking to win singles gold in AEW, as he will challenge Bandido for the ROH World Championship at Grand Slam. Following his successful defence of the World Championship at All Out, Will Ospreay met Kazuchika Okada at the press conference. The World Title match was later confirmed for Grand Slam: France, with Okada humorously responding with “Bonjour bitches” to Ospreay.

On the last episode of Collision, AEW announced that the Clockwork Carnage match will debut at WrestleDream. The first qualifier will take place at Grand Slam, which will see Samoa Joe face Jack Perry. Whoever wins the match at WrestleDream will be the AEW World Champion.

  • Mercedes Mone (c) vs. Queen Aminata – Singles match for the AEW Women’s World Championship
  • Darby Allin (c) vs. Kyle Fletcher – Singles match for the TNT Championship
  • Bandido (c) vs. Kofi – Singles match for the ROH World Championship
  • Samoa Joe vs. Jack Perry – Clockwork Carnage Qualifying Match
  • Will Ospreay (c) vs. Kazuchika Okada – AEW World Championship
  • Jon Moxley and Gabe Kidd vs. Mark Davis and Jake Doyle
