AEW Full Gear Predictions

AEW Full Gear Predictions

For the 6th time, AEW Full Gear will take place.

One of the Big 4 shows on the AEW calendar, Full Gear will air live on November 23rd at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Following on from his shock victory at AEW WrestleDream, new World Champion Jon Moxley will put the title on the line against Orange Cassidy in the main event.

Other matches on the show include Will Ospreay facing off against former best friend Kyle Flecther, Mercedes Mone will put the TBS Championship on the line against Kris Statlander and Bobby Lashley will make his in-ring debut against Swerve Strickland.

AEW Full Gear Predictions

Swerve Strickland vs. Bobby Lashley

Expect a dominating debut from Bobby Lashley in this one. Looking to make a lasting impression in his first AEW match, it’s likely that Lashley will remind the fans what he is all about and will be an imposing force. While not a guarantee, there is a chance that Strickland could lose decisively in what would be an effective squash match.

Winner: Bobby Lashley

Private Party (c) vs. The Outrunners vs. House of Black vs. The Acclaimed – 4-Way Match For The AEW Tag Team Championships

As Private Party have only just won the Tag Team Championships, it’s unlikely that they would see their reign end this quickly. Expect the usual fast-paced multi-tag action that AEW has become known for, which will ultimately see the champions prevail.

Winners: Private Party

MJF vs. Roderick Strong

This match is more about continuing the rivalry between MJF and Adam Cole as opposed to being a way to bring the rivalry to an end. MJF will use every trick in the book to defeat Strong and will likely be confronted by Cole after the match, likely leading to a match between the former best friends at Worlds End.

Winner: MJF

Jay White vs. Adam Page

As Jay white won their first match back at WrstleDream, it is likely that Page will win the rematch. With both men having back-up this could be the overbooked match on the card and one to set up a bigger match down the road. There is a chance that a stipulation rematch could be on the cards or that both men will cross paths in the Continental Classic.

Winner: Adam Page

Jack Perry (c) vs. Daniel Garcia – Singles Match For The TNT Championship

While Perry should have lost the title months ago, there has yet to be a credible opponent who should have dethroned him, until now. With Garcia recently signing a new contract and in need of a push, this is time for Garcia to finally win a championship in AEW. Perry can focus on his NJPW commitments as he will be facing Yota Tsuji at Wrestle Dynasty in January 2025.

Winner: Daniel Garcia

Mercedes Mone (c) vs. Kris Statlander – Singles Match For The TBS Championship

Like many Mone defences that have come before, this will follow the same formula of Kamille providing interference and Mone capitalising. This will be another successful defence for Mone with no one looking set to defeat The CEO anytime soon.

Winner: Mercedes Mone

Will Opsreay vs. Kyle Fletcher

Two best friends collide in what could be the match of the night from an in-ring standpoint. Although Ospreay is in need of a big win, Flecther arguably needs the win more to establish himself as a solo star in the division and credible member of The Don Callis Family. Mark Davis will likely get involved and could also betray Ospreay to allow Fletcher to pick up a huge victory.

Winner: Kyle Fletcher

Jon Moxley (c) vs. Orange Cassidy – Singles Match For The AEW World Championship

In what will likely be the main event of AEW Full Gear, Moxley puts the title on the line for the first time against Orange Cassidy, who is looking to be the one to restore order to AEW. With this being Mox’s first defence and with there being a lot of story left to tell in The Blackpool Combat Club takeover storyline, a title change won’t be taking place here. A brawl will likely ensue afterwards with Darby Allin getting involved and the faces will stand tall to close out the show, but Moxley will walk out as the champion.

Winner: Jon Moxley
