The Forbidden Door opens one more in 2026 as stars from AEW, NJPW, CMLL and STARDOM will all be in action.
Taking place the same night as NXT’s Great American Bash and TNA Slammiversary, the crossover show will see multiple champions defend their titles against competitors from outside promotions and a huge steel cage match. Likely the main event of the show, Team MJF will face Team Mark Briscoe in a 12-man steel cage match. If Team Briscoe wins, Briscoe will receive a future title match against World Champion MJF. However, if Team MJF wins, MJF will still have to put his title on the line, but it will be against Kevin Knight.
The Men’s and Women’s Owen Hart Cup finals are also scheduled for the show, with Will Ospreay, Swerve Strickland, Mercedes Mone and Maya World all looking to be the winner. Whoever emerges as the victor will challenge for a top championship at All In inside Wembley Stadium.
The tag team, Continental, Women’s and IWGP Global Championships will all be defended at the event.
