AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday Results October 7

A rare Tuesday night edition of AEW Dynamite took place on October 7.

With the MLB playoffs set to take place on TBS on October 8, Dynamite was bumped to the night before for the third year in a row. As such, AEW once again presented its Title Tuesday special, which saw Mercedes Mone defend her TBS Championship and Kyle Fletcher defend his TNT Championship.

Additionally, World Champion Adam Page and challenger Samoa Joe had a face-to-face confrontation ahead of their match at WrestleDream.

Excalibur, Taz and Bryan Danielson were on commentary for the show.

AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday Results October 7:

  • The show opened with Adam Page and Samoa Joe meeting face-to-face. Page admitted he was confused over what took place last week by Joe’s meltdown, but also noted that he owed Joe a title shot. Joe responded that Page was not a champion, but a pretender, and that he wanted to prove that he is the better man in the ring. Joe also promised to be the rightful World Champion at WrestleDream.
  • Jon Moxley defeated Tomohiro Ishii.
  • The Hurt Syndicate defeated The Demand in a street fight.
  • Jurassic Express defeated KM and TK O’Ryan.
  • Kyle Fletcher defeated Kyle O’Reilly to retain the TNT Championship. A brawl ensued after the match, which ultimately saw Mark Briscoe confront Fletcher. It was later announced that Fletcher vs. Briscoe for the TNT Title would take place at WrestleDream.
  • Mercedes Mone defeated Lacy Layne [FKA Kayden Carter in WWE] to retain the TBS Championship.
  • Kazuhika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita defeated Brodido, meaning that they have earnt a shot against the Tag Team Champions at WrestleDream.
  • Orange Cassidy defeated PAC. The Deathriders tried to beat down Cassidy after the match, but Darby Allin arrived with a Molotov cocktail.
