A street fight and more took place on the September 10 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Ending the promotion’s residency at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, AEW went extreme with a street fight taking place between Women’s Champion Toni Storm and Skyle Blue. Additionally, World Champion Adam Page was in action against Josh Alexander and Ricochet faced Shelton Benjamin.
Excalibur, Taz and Bryan Danielson were on commentary for the show.
AEW Dynamite Results September 10:
- After new full-time commentator Bryan Danielson was introduced, with Excalibur also stating that Danielson’s in-ring days are behind him, Adam Page took on Josh Alexander.
- Page defeated Alexander, and was confronted by TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher after the match. Page agreed to defend the title against Fletcher at All Out, but only if he did it on his own.
- Alex Windsor and Riho defeated Mercedes Mone and Emi Sakura.
- FTR came out for a promo segment but were berated by the fans. FTR then beat up members of the crew.
- Ricochet defeated Shelton Benjamin. A brawl ensued after the match with security trying to keep them separated.
- Toni Storm defeated Skyle Blue in a street fight that featured staples, mousetraps and just about everything in between. The Triangle of Madness tried to attack Storm after the match, but Jamie Hayter and Kris Statlander tried to make the save. Ultimately, Thekla was the one who stood tall.
- The Young Bucks, Jon Moxy, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta defeated Bandido, Brody King, Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata to earn $500K. The Deathriders attacked The Opps after the match until Darby Allin made the save. Daniel Garcia turned heel by attacking Allin and stomping his head into a chair.
